The Downey Knights won or shared the Modesto Metro League title for five consecutive seasons from 2011 to 2015, but they were aced out of the final MMC crown by undefeated Gregori and the first-ever CCAL championship by Turlock. The Knights, behind quarterback Bryce Gouker, are gunning for their first league title in three years.
