Beyer High's Jonathan Lee connected on a school-record 12 three-point field goals, finishing with 36 points in an 85-57 win over Western Athletic Conference rival Johansen on Feb. 7. The next night, Lee had five three-pointers and 21 points in a narrow 62-58 loss to Gregori, one of the top teams in the Front Row region.j
Lee now has 93 three-pointers for the season, just six away from breaking the school record set by Brian Perry in 2017.
"It feels pretty good," said Lee about being in such a shooting rhythm. "You're pretty locked in. It just happens, kinda. You just know that you're locked, you're taking your shots and it feels good."
The Patriots (17-10) have one more regular-season game remaining against crosstown rival Davis on Thursday, before getting ready for the Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs.
